What to Write Next – NYT Essay by Colson Whitehead

     I know many of you are writers, as well as readers. If, like me, you struggle with what to write next when you’ve finished a project, then this essay is for you. Whitehead has provided some clear-cut guidelines for selecting the most appropriate project/genre, given your current state of mind. You really don’t want to miss this! I’ve used indecision as an excuse to procrastinate on a new project for way too long. Using Whitehead’s process, now I know – time for something in the “Domestic” genre. . .  as soon as I get back from visiting Aisle 8 at Whole Foods!
